Companion dog. A muscular, active, pretty compact dog without any sign of Hochläufigkeit or disproportionate body length. He is a robust, very muscular dog with hard, dense, and wiry hair, as well as much Undercoat. The coat may not more scrubby seem at the today's breed standards. He is the biggest English Terrier breed. With regular trimming, not haart this breed and is good to keep proper upbringing in an apartment. AIREDALE Terrier considered very intelligent and learn happy. In addition, the animals are often characterised by vividness and be kept due to their friendly nature as family dogs.

General appearance:
Hard, dense, and wiry hair, not so long that it has a shaggy. Smooth and flat lying, covering the body and runs. Top coat hard, wiry, stiffly, Undercoat shorter and softer.
The toughest hair kringelt is or is slightly wavy. Curly or soft hair is highly undesirable.
The hair color is black in the saddle or greyish, also neck and top of the tail. All other body parts LOH colors. The ears of the AIREDALE Terriers are often darker in the LOH. Occasionally also on the neck and on the temples you can find darker shades. Some white hairs between the front legs can be accepted.
BEHAVIOUR/TEMPERAMENT:
Resolute expression, quickly in the movement, always full of tense expectation. The character of the AIREDALE Terrier will be identified and emphasized by the expression of the eyes, by the way, to wear the ears and the tail upright. The AIREDALE terrier is open and trusting, friendly, courageous and intelligent. Always watchful, not aggressive, but fearless.

Lange Haaren und Allergien im Allgemeinen haben keinen Zusammenhang. Es gibt Hunde, die haaren kaum und es gibt Hunde mit kurzem Fell, die extrem viel Haare verlieren. Allerdings gibt es Hunde, dir für Allergiker geeignet sind. Diese Hunderassen haben langes und kurzes Fell. Die Länge des Harrkleids macht da keinen Unterschied.
Bekannte Rassen dafür sind Schnauzer, Terrier, Nackhunde und Wasserhunde. Das sind in der Regel eher kleinere Hunderassen, aber es gibt auch Kreuzungen, mit den guten Eigenschaften der Allergiker Rassen. DIe Kreuzungen findest Du aber eher selten in Tierrheimen ...
